Job Description

Overview

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, supports aviation customers with landing systems. We are looking for a Regional Technical Support Engineer to provide expert support for wheel and brake customers across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Provide regional technical support for Collins Aerospace wheel and brake customers.
  • Support airline and MRO customers with technical queries, operational issues and product guidance.
  • Help maintain the highest standards of customer support across technical sales, campaigns, retrofit activity and competitions.
  • Build strong, long term relationships with customers through responsive, clear and credible technical communication.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support customer needs, product performance and future opportunities.
  • Act as a technical voice for Collins Landing Systems in the region, helping customers operate with confidence, safety and efficiency.
  • Support ongoing customer engagement by combining technical expertise with a strong service mindset.

Qualifications

You Must Have

  • Diploma in Aviation Maintenance, or equivalent academic and/or practical experience in aircraft mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and/or powerplant.
  • Minimum of four years' experience in the design and/or maintenance of aircraft, aircraft systems or aircraft appliances, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong technical communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted, long standing customer relationships.
  • Aircraft wheels, brakes and landing gear experience would be considered an asset.

We Prefer

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ten years' relevant experience.
  • Previous exposure to airline maintenance activities.
  • Technical familiarity with aircraft wheels, brakes and landing gear.
  • Experience working directly with airline or MRO customers.
