Job Summary
Clio is a legal AI technology company seeking an Intermediate Data Engineer in Manchester to build and maintain data pipelines, collaborate across teams, and drive data driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Implement real time and batch data ingestion using Azure technologies.
- Design, build, and maintain data transformation pipelines and notebooks consolidating multiple data sources into data lakes and warehouses.
- Collaborate with engineers on best practices for data system creation, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Develop prototype or proof of concept implementations for emerging projects.
- Build interactive reports for internal and customer consumption.
Requirements
- Experience in software development and data engineering or analytics.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (Azure) and at least one major language (Python, Spark SQL, or Scala) and SQL.
- Knowledge of streaming and batch tools (Spark, Airflow), data warehousing (e.g., MS Fabric), and visualization tools (PowerBI).
- Experience with mirroring or replication tools.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
