The roleThe Analytics Product Engineering team at the company (TFP) builds and manages a bespoke analytical platform that powers our partnership driven business model. We combine actuarial expertise with advanced technology to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.
The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of innovative in house web applications in support of analytics teams at the company. The role is concerned with the enhancement of Fidelis' bespoke analytical software platform and capabilities, in particular its market leading pricing, exposure management, event response and point of underwriting tools.
They will work directly with Actuarial, Underwriting and technical teams, and must therefore be able to communicate effectively with both technical experts and non technical business users, with a focus on responsive prioritization, user experience, development and execution of robust designs, and the timely delivery of high quality solutions.
The role requires proactivity, accountability, and creativity, with continuous demonstration of well developed technical skills and innovation; this must be coupled with interest and expertise in the technical state of the art within and beyond the industry, for the continued evolution of Fidelis' analytics tools.
