Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior UI React Engineer with strong expertise in the Banking domain to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of projects. Hybrid working: blend of company offices, client sites, and home. Unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Role

We're seeking a senior React TypeScript engineer who can confidently take ownership of features and consistently deliver high quality code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write clean type safe React TypeScript code that is easy to maintain and adapt.
  • Take technical ownership of assigned features and deliver robust solutions.
  • Drive collaboration with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, business analysts, and fellow UI developers.
  • Proactively seek feedback, address uncertainties, and improve processes.
  • Challenge ideas and approaches constructively to focus on better outcomes.
  • Work independently and efficiently without needing extensive guidance.
Required Skills
  • Favour practical streamlined solutions rather than overengineering.
  • Write clean, readable code following established patterns.
  • Refactor proactively and iterate quickly.
  • Contribute to discussions around the testing pyramid and take responsibility for quality.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to enhance productivity without compromising standards.
Experience
  • Proven senior React TypeScript engineer.
  • Comfortable with ownership, feedback, and constructive challenges.
  • Trusted to deliver work that does not need rework.
