What is the purpose of this job?This role will manage as directed technical and acceptance testing on multiple Programmes/projects/enhancements/upgrades as well as support related activities to support existing and inflight Digital Ticketing solutions providing direct benefits to the travelling public.
The role will encompass both Manual and Automation across multiple ticketing mediums including contactless payment, Barcode as well as Web and mobile applications.
The role requires proven experience in testing complex integrations as well as end to end solutions and detailed analysis and handling of defects, in both a waterfall and agile environment.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in the implementation and execution of testing activities, including test automation, within large and complex solutions.
They will demonstrate a strong track record in the production and delivery of technical documentation, including test artefacts, guides, and supporting materials, as required.
Experience in certification and standards based testing is desirable.
The role requires demonstrable experience in interpreting technical specifications, requirements and standards documentation and translating these into robust, traceable test scenarios and test cases. The candidate will also have proven capability in technical problem solving, risk identification, and the application of ITIL aligned processes.
This position will involve close collaboration with cross functional internal teams, as well as technical teams from suppliers, customers and stakeholders.
Candidates must be familiar with industry standard test tools and technologies, including ReadyAPI and Postman, Playwright, Selenium, Python, and SQL, alongside test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
A detailed working knowledge of ITSO specifications and rail related standards (including RSPS 3002 and related frameworks) is essential.
Knowledge of cEMV processes and practices is desirable.
