Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Project Quality & Environmental Deliverables Coordinator to join a leading organisation delivering key infrastructure projects on a 6 month fixed term contract. Based on site full time, this role is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing project quality documentation within engineering or manufacturing environments. You'll play a critical part in ensuring all deliverables meet client and project standards while supporting environmental compliance.

Salary

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience).

Location and Working Pattern

On site, 5 days per week (37 hours):
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 noon.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the HS2 project quality deliverables plan/register, ensuring all quality documentation is produced and submitted accurately and on schedule.
  • Attend and contribute to internal and client meetings, including progress and readiness reviews.
  • Develop and maintain Manufacturing Inspection & Test Plans (MITPs/ITPs) aligned with specifications and project requirements.
  • Coordinate quality documentation and material acceptance records, ensuring traceability and compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver final handover documentation packs, including O&M manuals, to client approved formats.
  • Manage document control activities for HS2 deliverables, maintaining version control and traceability.
  • Support defect resolution by coordinating updated documentation for NCRs and punch lists.
  • Collect and report environmental data, ensuring integration into project documentation in line with HS2 requirements.
Must Have Requirements
  • Proven experience managing project quality deliverables and documentation for engineering/manufacturing projects.
  • Strong understanding of document control, revision management and QA processes.
  • Ability to interpret drawings/specifications and apply requirements to practical documentation.
  • Competent with MS Office and document management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence in client meetings.
  • Awareness of environmental evidence requirements.
  • Must be a British National (due to security clearance requirements).
Nice to Have Skills
  • Previous experience on HS2 or major UK infrastructure projects.
  • Qualifications or experience with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 systems.
  • Internal auditing qualification or experience in audits.
  • Familiarity with client document portals and transmittal systems.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to suppliers/sites if required.
