Job Title: Service Manager - Construction Plant and Equipment

Based: East Midlands

Area to be covered: National

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000

Benefits: Full comprehensive benefits package

• Technical Service Manager position, dealing with the service and maintenance of tower cranes
• Managing the full service and maintenance function
• Acting as the first line of technical support to internal and external stakeholders
• Majority of your time will be spent fault finding via telephone
• Allocating engineers to particular jobs as required
• Budget management for the service department
• RIDDOR and incident investigation and reporting
• Occasional site visits will be conducted with more complex faults
• Conducting maintenance of all equipment minimalising downtime
• Managing the service team both at the depot and in the field
• Ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all times

• Previous experience dealing with the service and maintenance of construction plant or similar
• Must have mechanical and electrical engineering experience with a mechanical bias
• Must have people management experience
• Engineering qualification
• Ideally will be able to put forward strategies to improve the business and contribute to senior management
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Full UK driving license
• Motivated, highly organised, team player
