Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead on site security operations, incidents and vulnerability remediation efforts across our data centers and network PoPs environment.
  • Lead and manage security incidents, point of contact for security issues that occur on site, incident commander in event of an issue.
  • Subject matter expert for all security control and related process areas.
  • Develop strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access control systems.
  • Analyze and oversight of scheduling and staffing requirements for area of responsibility.
  • Support program managers and facilitate security project deliverables; devise security and EHS strategies, achieve financial targets, improve the overall operational security.
  • Participate in regular meetings with vendors, Data Centre Operations, and other partner teams to accomplish operational consistency.
  • Effectively communicate with partner teams when providing awareness of security and EHS policies and procedures.
  • Implement safety standards, policies and practices including but not limited to; safety management systems, training, and risk assessments.
  • Adapt to fast paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, strategy and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance and implementation of global safety programs and local regulatory legislation.
  • As an effective communicator, you will deliver clear, consistent safety messaging in writing and orally, coach and develop personnel on safety protocols, and drive the rollout of safety standards across all sites.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including production, delivery, platform, vendors, compliance, and risk management to strengthen operational safety, ensure rapid business deployment and reliable operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3 years+ experience in data center security operations.
  • 3 years+ experience with risk management, vulnerability assessments for data center.
  • Excellent organizational direction, time management, problem solving, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Works well within time/budget constraints environments to solve problems and complete security deliverables.
  • Experience managing EHS for hyperscale data centers, critical facilities, or mission critical infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of high voltage electrical safety, arc flash, battery safety, chilled water systems, and data center mechanical/electrical risks.
  • Familiarity with data center environmental compliance: hazardous waste, chemical management, water treatment, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction.
  • Experience in crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity for critical facilities.
