Position
Website Designer - Central London. Salary: Voluntary (Travel expenses paid and lunch provided).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually appealing, user friendly, responsive websites.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand needs and requirements.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes to present to clients for feedback and approval.
- Develop website layouts, navigation, and user interface elements.
- Write clean and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Test and troubleshoot website functionality and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Optimize website performance and ensure it is SEO friendly.
- Stay updated with the latest web design trends and techniques.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing websites.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Website Designer or similar role.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design tools.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- A portfolio of previous web design projects is a plus.
