Job Description

MCS Group is looking for a Data Engineer / Analytics Developer to join a growing team delivering data, reporting and automation solutions that support operational and business decision-making. This is a hands on role for a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer who enjoys working across data engineering, analytics and process automation. You'll collaborate with a range of business and technical stakeholders, helping to improve the flow, quality and accessibility of data while delivering solutions that drive efficiency and insight.

The Role
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and integration processes
  • Develop and optimise data solutions using Python, SQL and Snowflake
  • Support reporting, analytics and dashboard development
  • Design and implement automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into practical solutions
  • Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to documentation, governance and best practice across the data landscape
The Person
  • Mid Level or Senior level experience in a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, Data Analyst or similar role
  • Strong hands on experience with Python, SQL and Snowflake
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes and data quality principles
  • Experience working with large datasets and business critical reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms - is desirable

Location: County Antrim (On Site 5 days per Week)

Contract: 12 Month Temporary Contract (PAYE)

Salary: Equivalent to £57,000+ per annum
