Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity and apply today!

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Solid network support background - comfortable with multi-vendor environments
  • Exposure to Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, or Fortinet technology (ideally more than one)
  • Ready to transition: you want to own implementation, not just maintain
  • A delivery mindset - you see a project through from start to finish
  • ClearPass or ISE experience is a bonus, not a barrier

Working Setup:

  • Juniper MX & ACX
  • Cisco Wireless & LAN
  • Aruba Wireless & LAN
  • Fortinet SD-WAN
  • ClearPass / ISE (beneficial)

Location & Working Pattern:

  • On-call: 1 week in 11
  • Hybrid: 3 days office (Salford or Lancaster) / 2 days from home

Benefits:

  • £40,000 - £50,000 base salary
  • Discretionary bonus £2,000 per annum
  • Step up without stepping into the unknown - structured move from support to delivery
  • Agile business: small enough that your contribution is visible and valued
  • Big projects with real complexity - the kind of work that builds your CV fast
  • Public sector focus - the work genuinely improves lives
  • Low on-call burden so you're not permanently on edge

Salary:

  • £40,000 - £50,000 base salary
