Join a small engineering-led team delivering secure software and data capabilities into some of the UK's most sensitive National Security environments.

You'll design and develop Java-based backend services, APIs and distributed systems that support mission-critical applications, operational platforms and large-scale data processing. Working across modern microservices architectures, you'll contribute to technical design, secure software delivery, automation and system reliability.

Java 11+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

You'll design and develop Java-based backend services, APIs and distributed systems that support mission-critical applications, operational platforms and large-scale data processing. • Strong Java backend development experience
• Microservices and distributed systems expertise
• Knowledge of software architecture and secure development
• Experience working within modern DevSecOps environments

Location: Gloucester, London or Manchester (4 days onsite)

Clearance: Current Enhanced DV required
