Senior VP, Full Stack Engineer -JAVA

Manchester- on site

Salary: £100,000

We're partnered with a global financial services organisation seeking a Senior VP Full Stack Engineer to lead from the front-driving mission-critical delivery, shaping engineering standards, and building high-performing teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on engineering leader who thrives in agile environments and enjoys solving complex business challenges through scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions. You'll play a key role in shaping engineering standards, leading talented teams, and delivering critical systems end to end.

This is a senior, hands on leadership role with real influence across architecture, people, and technology.

What you'll do
  • Lead, coach, and scale high performing engineering teams
  • Own end to end delivery of critical systems (design deploy optimise)
  • Drive engineering excellence across microservices, APIs, testing, and DevOps
  • Champion secure, resilient, and observable platforms
  • Partner with product and business leaders to deliver measurable outcomes
  • Influence architecture strategy, modernisation, and governance
What you bring
  • Proven leadership of engineering teams in agile environments
  • Strong Java (Spring) expertise and microservices architecture
  • Experience building scalable, observable, testable systems
  • Solid DevOps mindset: CI/CD, TDD, automation, containers
  • Hands on experience with AI tools and integrating AI into products
