Are you passionate about health and well being? We are looking for full time Activity Workers to deliver high quality activity provision to our patient group at Reaside Clinic.

The role involves working with service users at various stages in secure care, providing therapeutic activities on a daily basis and contributing to the activity programme. We seek individuals who are innovative and able to think outside the box when working with users who may have complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for organising a timetable of activity for groups and individuals on the ward, motivating participation and promoting inclusion and communication.

Activity workers are expected to work flexibly out of hours to keep patients active seven days a week. Clinical experience is not required, but you must be able to lead a varied activity programme tailored to users' needs, including physical activity and healthy lifestyle promotion. Hospital facilities are available to support this role.

All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust's induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be delivered in an e learning format and must be completed online (approximately 9-14 hours depending on the post) by the end of your second week.
