About the RoleThis is a unique and influential role within the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), supporting the delivery of one of the UK's largest and most high-profile medical licensing examinations. The MRCGP examinations are undertaken by approximately 7,000 GP registrars each year and rely on a complex range of digital platforms, suppliers, and technical environments to ensure safe, fair, and seamless delivery. This role will provide operational ownership and technical leadership across those systems, ensuring that examination platforms remain reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.
Working closely with the Examinations team, Digital Services (DDAT), platform providers, and NHS stakeholders, you will act as the bridge between assessment operations and technology delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring that examinations function effectively in real-world environments, including GP practices and NHS networks across the UK.
