Core Responsibilities
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for power and energy solutions within telecom network deployments.
Provide technical guidance on power systems, including PSUs, batteries, enclosures, backup power, and site energy infrastructure.
Support customer-facing discussions and presentations relating to energy and power solutions.
Develop and review technical solutions to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Produce and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and supporting materials.
Respond to requests for specialist electrical expertise from internal stakeholders and customer teams.
Support bids, proposals, and solution reviews by providing technical input and risk assessments.
Work with delivery, integration, deployment, and engineering teams to ensure solutions are practical and deployable.
Evaluate the impact of new technologies and product changes on power and site infrastructure.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to power and site solutions.
Ensure solutions meet reliability, resilience, safety, and operational requirements.
Provide advice and guidance on an any electrical H&S incidents that occur within the company in the product or field teams.
Review electrical designs from internal and external resources and ensure compliance to UK wiring regulations and customer standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with Customer Account Managers (CAMs), project teams, delivery managers, and engineering specialists.
Engage with customers to understand requirements and explain technical solutions.
Coordinate with product and portfolio teams to obtain technical information and support.
Provide technical assurance and sign-off where required.

Skills Required
Strong understanding of telecom site power architecture and resilience principles.
Strong electrical installation experience
Ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
Presentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Broad understanding of telecom network deployment and integration processes.
Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
Problem-solving and technical analysis skills.

C&G Level 4 2396 Electrical Design or equivalent
2396-01 Level 4 Design and Verification of Electrical Installations (BS7671)
2391-10 Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (BS7671)
2382-18 Level 3 Certificate-Electrical Installations (BS7671: 18th Edition)
2330 Level 2 & 3 Certificates in Electrotechnical Engineering
