• Automate the world's most advanced cloud computing infrastructure
• Simplify and reinvent systems, processes, and tools to make things better for customers
• Build unique solutions to customers' technical problems
• Provide guidance on system architecture and recommend solutions in alignment with systems engineering best practices
• Investigate and develop new ways to improve operations when a strategy is not defined
• Mentor, hire, and develop team members
• Study and learn from industry recognised Amazon senior and principal engineers
• Identify, troubleshoot, and fix root causes to problems

• Experience in managing system or software development teams
• Hands on experience in systems engineering and administrative work in networking, storage systems, and operating systems
• Experience in agile software development methodology

• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Experience with Agile engineering practices (Kanban, continuous delivery, etc.)
• Experience with AWS platforms, services, and design patterns
