Control Systems Engineer

North West UK. Up to £60,000 DOE + site allowance. Full-time Permanent.

Established engineering business specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke industrial processing and automation equipment used globally. The company is known for delivering reliable, high-performance machinery and practical engineering solutions for demanding production environments.

An opportunity for a hands on Control Systems Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This role involves working across the full lifecycle of bespoke machinery projects, including:

• PLC & HMI software development
• Electrical design and panel assembly
• Machine wiring and testing
• R&D and system development
• UK and international installation & commissioning work

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys practical engineering, problem solving, and seeing projects through from concept to commissioning.

• PLC programming (Rockwell preferred)
• Motion control and HMI development
• Electrical design using EPlan / AutoCAD
• Control panel build and machine wiring
• Testing and commissioning of machinery
• Supporting new machine installations worldwide
• Working to machine safety standards

• Experience with PLC programming and automation systems
• HMI and motion control knowledge
• Electrical design and panel building experience
• Hands on electrical and commissioning capabilityExperience within industrial or manufacturing environments beneficial
• Graduates with relevant skills considered
