Contract: 12 Months

Rate: Up to £500/day (Outside IR35)

Location: Remote

Start Date: By 1st July

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major Data Governance initiative within a leading pharmaceutical organisation's R&D function.

This role will focus on validating a Data Governance operating model, conducting detailed process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements validation as part of an MVP build programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and refine Data Governance models and processes
  • Lead end-to-end process mapping workshops
  • Conduct gap analysis and requirements gathering
  • Support the delivery of a Data Governance MVP
  • Assess impacts across business processes and data domains
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders within R&D
  • Contribute to areas such as DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments) and governance controls

Essential Experience

  • Strong Business Analysis experience on Data Governance, Data Management, or MDM programmes
  • Proven expertise in process mapping, requirements elicitation, and gap analysis
  • Experience working within highly regulated environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills

Desirable Experience

  • Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry experience
  • Exposure to Data Governance tools such as Collibra
  • Experience with Snowflake and Microsoft technologies
  • Understanding of DPIAs, data controls, and governance frameworks
