Senior Site Reliability Engineer / Bristol, Remote / £75,000 to £95,000 Per Annum D.O.E.

In 2019, the founders were working as engineers solving complex cross-domain problems within government organisations. Since then, the company has grown to over 100 team members across the UK, with colleagues working both on-site with clients, hybrid and remotely from home.

• Fully remote until our Bristol office is completed (expected early 2027), then moving to a hybrid model of 3 days onsite in Bristol and 2 days working from home with occasional expensed travel to Herefordshire and Corsham.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining resilient systems that support critical operations. You ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and reliable. This is a hands-on role where you ll have the opportunity to influence technical direction, improve system performance, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Site Reliability Engineer:

• Designing and maintaining reliable, scalable physical and virtual infrastructure
• Monitoring system performance and proactively resolving issues
• Automating processes using tools such as Ansible to improve efficiency and consistency
• Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders across the business
• Supporting continuous improvement of systems, tools, and practices
• Operating across the full infrastructure stack, from bare metal systems through to virtualised deployments and the applications running within them.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for problem-solving
