A large proportion of the firm's services are already underpinned by SQL and data services, and the role holds a particularly strong focus around our finance and practice management services, working very closely with the Finance Systems Team.

As the firm scales services utilising AI and automation, the structure, security, availability and accuracy of data across the organisation is becoming more critical than ever. Over the next 12-18 months, a huge focus will be on our revised data strategy which will see new technologies and services based on the Microsoft Fabric stack implemented across the organisation. This strategy will deliver secure, scalable structured and unstructured data sources which can be effectively mined by AI, with modern business intelligence services delivering internal and client facing insights.

  • Be responsible for liaison with internal / external teams to ensure delivery of technical solutions
  • Be aware of the impact of technical solutions in relation to cost and firm strategy
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance with skills transfer to members of the Support Desk and others as appropriate
  • Take a pro-active role in identifying any issues and possible solutions that may arise within an assignment and communicating these to the manager and customer as relevant
  • Utilise and champion agreed delivery methodologies and tools, including change and release management
  • Engage with the Finance Systems Team to perform monthly financial processes for the business
  • Keep software up to date with the latest cumulative and security patches
  • Implementing role-based security by managing user logins and permissions and additionally maintain robust backup strategies
