Position
Maintenance worker at Luxborough Court School.
Salary: Up to £33,378 plus excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general, day to day repairs to keep the school building running.
- Drive and maintain school vehicles, ensuring they remain in good working order.
- Keep the school grounds and garden neat and tidy.
- Act as a friendly, familiar face for pupils, providing basic child safeguarding support and reporting.
- Assist in maintaining other facilities such as the sports hall, 6th form suite and therapeutic intervention spaces.
Qualifications
- Some maintenance skills, either professional or as a DIY enthusiast.
- A 'can do' attitude and a team player mindset.
- Confidence in taking responsibility for purchasing small maintenance items.
- Willingness to undertake Health & Safety training and other relevant training.
- Commitment to a role that supports children with special educational needs.
