Senior Full Stack Engineer - FinTech - London Based

Up to £140,000 plus benefits

London based

We're partnered with a leading FinTech business who are now looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team as they continue to build new products.

The business works on large-scale, high-impact platforms that support a large number of assets, and they are known for fostering innovation and cutting-edge technology to deliver transformative solutions for their clients. You'll be joining a collaborative environment where technical excellence, creativity and professional development are highly regarded.

This is a senior role where you'll be combining architecture, hands on development and involved in the strategic influence. You'll be designing and delivering scalable and high-performing software solutions and supporting the mentoring of engineers.

What will you be doing:
  • Leading the design and development of full stack applications in Java, microservices architecture and modern front end frameworks
  • Architect solutions within a Spring Boot microservices environment using test driven practices
  • Be part of the build and integration of responsive front end applications
  • Help resolve complex system wide technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Play a role in mentoring and coaching junior engineers
What are they looking for:
  • Experience in Java, Spring, microservices and REST APIs
  • Good knowledge in front end development either in Angular or other frontend technologies
  • Experience with testing framework such as TDD
  • Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines
