Job title: 2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: Central London (Hybrid) Contract Lenght: 6 months + Extensions Start Date: ASAP
Working hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Day Rate: up to £250 a Day inside IR35

A client of ours are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to support their clients with a mixture of BAU and project work. The successful 2nd Line Support Engineer will be joining a fast-paced environment and a supportive team. The role will focus on troubleshooting issues, supporting users and maintaining IT systems.

They are seeking someone who is a quick learner, has a great attitude and excellent communication skills. The 2nd Line Support Engineer will have the opportunity to support a variety of different environments and users, working across a broad Microsoft-focused technology stack.

Essential skills - 2nd Line Support Engineer:

  • Windows 10 & 11 support
  • Active Directory / Entra ID - user administration and group policies
  • Office 365 - mailbox creation, email flow, distribution lists and security groups
  • Intune - managed laptops and mobile devices
  • Basic networking knowledge - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience handling escalations from 1st Line

Desirable skills - 2nd Line Support Engineer:

  • Azure - administration
  • Project experience
  • Microsoft certifications
  • PowerShell (basic)
  • MSP experience
