We are hiring a Senior Power Systems Engineer to develop and validate dynamic models for our battery energy storage systems (BESS). This position centres on creating high-fidelity dynamic models for BESS sites, supporting grid integration studies, stability assessments, and automated power system workflows using industry-standard tools.

Qualifications and Experience Required
• Master's or Ph.D. in Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience, with a strong emphasis on practical dynamic model development beyond simulation studies.
• Proven expertise in developing and validating models for inverter-based resources, renewable energy systems (including BESS, solar PV, and hybrid plants), as well as power plant controllers. Prior experience as a Compliance Engineer or completing grid compliance studies would also be beneficial
• Advanced proficiency in PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, and at least one scripting language such as Python, MATLAB, or Fortran.
• Comprehensive knowledge of power system dynamics, control theory, and grid integration of inverter-based resources.
• Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
