Senior Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with experience working with mechanical, electrical, and process systems in a highly regulated industry such as Nuclear, Aerospace, or Defence. The role focuses on Defence & Decommissioning projects within our Strategic Business Unit.

• System functional and interface modelling
• Working with mechanical, electrical and process systems
• Operating requirements management database software (DOORS preferred)
• Operating Model Based Systems Engineering software (Capella preferred)

• Experience in the Nuclear industry is desirable.
• Foundation background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is acceptable.
• Degree in engineering or STEM subject is mandatory or equivalent experience must be demonstrated.
• Systems thinking and understanding of systems engineering processes is mandatory.
• Willingness to accept a candidate with Systems Engineering experience who can demonstrate competence.
• Experience operating Rationale DOORS software is desirable.
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering is desirable.
• Awareness of relevant BS or INCOSE standards is desirable.
