As a Systems Engineer, you will own the deep backend infrastructure-from context engines and retrieval pipelines to scaling OLAP data layers-shaping how the internet's next generation of personalized experiences is built and delivered.

What you will do
- Design and implement high-performance retrieval systems and context engines to power real-time AI agent decision-making.
- Architect and scale service-oriented backend systems using TypeScript, Postgres, and Temporal.io to handle complex, long-running workflows.
- Build robust integration layers and OLAP scaling solutions that allow the platform to learn and optimize itself based on live visitor data.
The ideal candidate
- Deep technical background in systems engineering, distributed systems, or data pipelines with professional mastery of TypeScript backend environments.
- Experience or a strong interest in AI infrastructure, specifically RAG, LLM evaluations, or workflow orchestration tools like Temporal and Cadence.
- A founding mentality that values craftsmanship-the "beautiful piece of wood on the back"-and thrives in a fast-paced, 5-day-per-week in-office collaborative culture.
