What you'll doAs a Smart Network Technician, you'll be responsible for installing and retrieving acoustic loggers, diagnosing faults, and repairing flow and pressure monitoring devices. These tools are essential in helping us detect and reduce leakage across our extensive water distribution system.
You will be trained in all aspects of the role, while also becoming an integral part of a large and dynamic operational team. A company van, for work use only, will be provided for the role.
What you'll needWe're looking for a driven, hardworking and self-motivated individual who can learn new skills. As a Smart Network Technician working in a busy environment, you will be able to work well alone or as part of a team. You will also have excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
You'll enjoy working outside and have an interest in technology as well as the ability to interpret plans and maps. You'll need to be flexible with your working hours, as some tasks may take place outside the usual schedule-especially in winter when leaks are more common.
You'll need a full manual driving licence, as driving is part of the job.
