PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £34,000 - £42,000 plus £5,441 London Weighting depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLEJoin BBC Studios as a Data Engineer play a key role in evolving our data platform. You'll design, build and support secure, scalable and trusted data pipelines that power critical products and insights across the organisation.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working hands on with data, values strong engineering practices, and wants to grow their skills while contributing to data products used at global scale.

ABOUT THE DATA PLATFORMOur data platform supports a wide range of audience, content and commercial use cases. It processes large scale event and relational data to power analytics, reporting, experimentation and downstream products across BBC Studios, with a strong emphasis on data trust, security and governance.
