Junior DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer

We are currently working with a growing technology business in the healthcare software space who are looking to add a Junior DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer to their engineering team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with some commercial experience in infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or support engineering who is looking to develop their skills further in a modern cloud-native environment.

The business is investing heavily in new cloud-based products and platforms, and they re looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to build a long-term career within DevOps and platform engineering.

The Role

You ll work alongside experienced engineers to help:

• Support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure
• Assist with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Support Kubernetes environments and containerised applications
• Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues
• Improve operational processes and automation
• Support system reliability, logging, and monitoring tools
• Work closely with development teams to improve delivery workflows

This role offers plenty of hands-on learning and the chance to gain exposure to modern DevOps practices and technologies.

Tech Environment

What They re Looking For

The client is open to candidates from backgrounds such as:

• Junior DevOps Engineering
• Infrastructure / Support Engineering
• Systems Administration
• Cloud Support
• Platform Support

You ll ideally have:

• Some commercial IT or infrastructure experience
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Understanding of cloud platforms or DevOps concepts
• Exposure to scripting or automation
• Interest in CI/CD, containers, or Kubernetes
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technically

Any experience with cloud platforms, containers, Git, or automation tools would be a bonus.
