Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality, scalable software and data solutions
  • Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines and architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and solution strategies
  • Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and aligned with best practices
  • Contribute to code reviews and promote a culture of quality and knowledge sharing
  • Support AI initiatives, including data preparation and pipeline development for AI/ML use cases
  • Apply testing, CI/CD, and DataOps/MLOps practices to ensure reliability
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, data, and engineering
What We're Looking For
  • Strong experience in data engineering and building modern data pipelines
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with tools/frameworks such as Spark, Airflow, Kafka, dbt
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Understanding of DataOps/MLOps, including CI/CD and data quality management
  • Experience supporting AI/ML workloads (e.g. embeddings, vector databases, RAG pipelines)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face or similar
  • Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  • Experience with streaming/real-time data architectures (Kafka, Flink)
  • Exposure to data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
What's on Offer
  • Hybrid working based in Northampton
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact AI and data transformation projects
  • A collaborative, forward-thinking engineering culture
  • Strong focus on innovation, modernisation, and continuous improvement
