Job Description

Leading financial services firm is seeking someone who combines strong hands-on technical support capability with the judgement, discretion, responsiveness, and service mindset needed to deliver executive-level/white-glove support experience onsite.

Acting as the primary IT presence in Jersey, you will provide high-touch support, take ownership of local issues, and ensure they are appropriately triaged, prioritised, escalated, and driven through to resolution. You will also work closely with the London-based IT and infrastructure teams, as well as third-party providers, to support wider infrastructure activities, service improvement, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-touch, executive-level IT support to senior leadership and Front Office users.
  • Deliver rapid, responsive, and professional support for incidents and service requests.
  • Act as the primary IT contact for the Jersey office.
  • Assess, prioritise, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop and infrastructure support.
  • Support Microsoft Office with strong Excel capability.
  • Support Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
  • Support AV and Cisco-based meeting room technologies.
  • Provide home IT and basic networking support.
  • Interface with London-based infrastructure teams.
  • Assist with infrastructure projects and rollouts.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven IT support experience in a user-facing environment.
  • Executive/VIP support experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel support skills.
  • Collaboration tools support experience.
  • AV rooms and basic networking knowledge.
  • Strong prioritisation and escalation skills

Because of the need to be visible to senior management, this person will need to be in the office 5 days per week (Monday-Friday), hence we are only able to consider applicants already residing in Jersey
