Role overview
The Performance Analyst will help AWTG and its clients understand how digital products, services and operational processes are performing. The role focuses on defining useful measures, analysing trends, producing clear reports and turning insight into practical recommendations for improvement. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across data, AI, software engineering, product, QA and delivery to create practical outcomes for clients and end users.
Key responsibilities
- Work with delivery, product and client teams to define KPIs, success measures, reporting needs and performance baselines.
- Collect, clean and analyse data from digital analytics, operational systems, service data and stakeholder inputs.
- Create regular reports, dashboards and visualisations that explain performance clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify service trends, risks, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement across products or projects.
- Support teams in interpreting evidence and making data-informed decisions during delivery and continuous improvement.
- Maintain quality assurance checks so that analysis is accurate, repeatable and fit for purpose.
Essential skills and experience
- Experience using analytical tools, spreadsheets, dashboards or data visualisation platforms.
- Ability to turn business goals and user needs into measurable indicators.
- Good understanding of data quality, validation and basic statistical or analytical techniques.
- Clear communication skills, including the ability to present findings in a simple and actionable way.
- Awareness of data privacy, security and ethical constraints when working with service data.
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance from senior colleagues.
Desirable skills and experience
- Experience with GA4, Power BI, Looker Studio, SQL or similar reporting tools.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams or digital service environments.
- Understanding of user centred service performance and benefits tracking.
