About the jobTo work with the Fleet Facilities Manager to ensure that all plant, equipment, and buildings are maintained to the relevant standards. To maintain the necessary records of this process and collate and coordinate the output(s) of the team. To act as liaison with various external stakeholders, including Network Rail, to ensure all works arising are progressed to completion. Interface primarily with internal stakeholders including SWR Helpdesk, Depot Plant Maintenance teams and Contractors.
Your main responsibilities will be:Wimbledon Traincare Depot is a short walk from Wimbledon Park station and recently launched our new Class 701 fleet, marking a significant milestone in the £1bn transformation of suburban travel. Drivers, maintenance and other depot colleagues are currently in training to develop the new skills needed for this generation of train that will be fitted with all new modern technology. Wimbledon depot will eventually become the new maintenance home for the entire Class 701 fleet.
Working patternWorking on average 37 hours over 5 days. Monday to Friday
