Linux Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) for an enterprise environment supporting the U.S. Federal Government. You will engage with customers, monitor network performance, identify improvement opportunities, share expertise through leadership and mentoring, and modernize network infrastructure.

• Design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) in an enterprise environment.
• Monitor network performance, providing customers with actionable insights.
• Analyze network data, identify problem areas, and recommend improvement strategies.
• Translate metrics into information and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to modernize network infrastructure and adopt best implementation practices.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge to improve overall team capabilities.

• 3+ years of experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux or CentOS.
• Experience managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi.
• Knowledge of Linux firewalls, networking configuration, and DNS.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of systems administration experience, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II compliant certification within 60 days of the start date.

• Experience with AWS.
• Experience managing systems with Infrastructure as Code tools (Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform).
• Programming experience in Python.
• Knowledge of bi directional network transfer systems.
• DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II compliant certification.

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 annualized USD. This range is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
