We are looking for an AIV Engineer to join our UK office who will work on both our current missions and future projects.
Role Purpose/SummaryClearSpace is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our Assembly, Integration and Validation (AIV) team and contribute to the building of a sustainable space. Your mission will be to cover all the steps of the spacecraft verification and validation process, from the building of the test environment to the testing of the spacecraft flight model. This is a dream role for space and tech enthusiasts, eager to grow their expertise in spacecraft systems, and put their creativity to work to develop whatever is needed to make a spacecraft project succeed.
Role ResponsibilitiesYou will play a key role in the end to end spacecraft integration and testing process, working across all the subsystems. This role requires diving into a variety of activities expect plenty of software development, alongside tasks ranging from designing and architecting spacecraft digital twins, hands on electrical integration with shiny satellite hardware and development of innovative test environments and test strategies.
You bring a strong background in software development, with expertise in both software craftsmanship and software development methods and practices (reliable software development, DevOps). You have solid experience in hardware/software integration, including:
