AWS DevOps Engineer & SRE 6 Month intitial contract Fully Remote 500- 550 OutsideIR35

to join our clients new team that will deploy and maintain our established cross-domain system for a customer. The system uses an AMQP event-driven microservices architecture and extensively utilises Docker container services. The team will use monitoring tools to verify that all components are meeting SLA/SLO requirements.

• Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Strong background in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (RabbitMQ / AMQP)
• Proficiency in software development (Java, Go, Python) with a focus on well-tested code
• Understanding of network security, cross-domain architectures, and managed service environments
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB)
