We are currently seeking a highly skilled MET Technician to join our client's esteemed accident repair centre in Swansea.   • Overtime paid at time and a half, subject to availability

Duties
  • Remove and replace mechanical, electrical, and trim components on vehicles with precision and skill
  • Identify hidden damage after stripping and assist in preparing parts and labour estimates alongside colleagues
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, adhering to the highest standards of repair efficiency
  • Follow manufacturer and company standards when completing job cards and repair duties
  • Work effectively under pressure within strict deadlines, multitasking during busy periods
  • Maintain clear communication with colleagues and support team members when needed
  • Work independently while ensuring tasks align with customer expectations and repair quality
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification in automotive MET/vehicle body repair or currently working towards an IMI qualification (candidates without formal qualifications but with substantial body repair experience are encouraged to apply)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong initiative and organisational skills to prioritise workload effectively
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Proven track record in vehicle repair, strip, and fit, or relevant automotive experience
