Project Architect

£43,000-£48,000 per annum

C7 Architects is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its established, residential design-focused studio in Surrey. The practice specialises in delivering high-quality, bespoke homes across Surrey and the surrounding counties, with a strong emphasis on thoughtful, context-driven architecture.

This is a Project Lead role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of multiple live projects and guide them from concept through to completion.

The successful candidate will manage approximately 6-7 live projects across all RIBA stages, acting as the primary point of contact for clients while ensuring each project is delivered with clarity, care and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading design development across all work stages
• Managing client relationships and providing professional guidance
• Coordinating consultants and wider project teams
• Overseeing project delivery from inception to completion
• Maintaining design integrity alongside technical rigour
• Ensuring compliance with UK planning policy and Building Regulations
• Managing programme timelines and supporting commercial awareness

C7 Architects is looking for a confident Project Architect who can run projects independently while contributing positively to a collaborative studio environment.

You will ideally have:

• ARB registration (essential)
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience delivering residential projects, ideally bespoke housing
• Strong design sensibility and technical detailing ability
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Revit experience (preferred but not essential)
• Sound knowledge of UK planning processes and Building Regulations
