Azure Integration Developer - Contract - Outside IR35 - £300 per day - Remote

Azure Integration Services | API Development | MuleSoft Migration | .NET

We are supporting a large-scale enterprise transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Azure Integration Developer to join a major migration initiative focused on moving from MuleSoft to Azure Integration Services (AIS).
This role will sit within a complex, federated business environment and play a key part in Phase 2 of the programme, focused on API services, reusable integrations, and cloud-native architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise APIs and integrations using:
  • Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Logic Apps
  • Azure Functions
  • Service Bus
  • Event Grid/Event Hub
• Support the migration of integrations and services from MuleSoft into Azure.
• Build scalable, secure, and reusable API-led integration solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders across multiple domains.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, monitoring, and operational support.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards across security, performance, documentation, and quality.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services
• Proven API development and enterprise integration experience
• Strong development background with:
  • C#
  • .NET/.NET Core
  • REST APIs
• Experience with:
  • Azure API Management
  • Logic Apps
  • Azure Functions
  • Service Bus
• Previous exposure to MuleSoft environments or migration programmes
• Understanding of API-led and event-driven architecture
• Experience working within large enterprise or federated environments
• Azure DevOps/CI-CD pipeline experience

Desirable

• Previous MuleSoft Azure migration experience
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform/Bicep)
• Microsoft Azure certifications
