Job Summary
Reporting to the Field CISO leader, you will be embedded into the service provider organization. The F-CISO will be responsible for conversing with key C-level clients to support the pursuit of profitable business growth for WWT. The F-CISO will leverage real-world experience as a security practitioner to assist clients with strategic business challenges related to governance, risk and compliance, and Cyber Security. Bringing a unique perspective and practical examples, the F-CISO adds gravitas and know-how to ensure WWT is seen as a differentiated business partner.
The role involves working closely with the Security Sales Advisor (SSA) responsible for driving Security Sales end-to-end across the client base. While the SSA and client team handle core Sales Specialist functions, the F-CISO may also support tasks such as:
- Business and Opportunity Development
- Positioning existing cybersecurity service offerings
- Measuring and reporting on status
- Cyber Strategy Development
Job Responsibilities
- Understand the competitive landscape and work with the SSA to develop strategies and initiatives to maintain a leadership position with all GSP accounts and executive leads.
- Collaborate with the SSA and client teams to build cyber strategy and identify new opportunities to bolster current success.
- Be passionate and enthusiastic in all aspects of the team, interacting directly with prospects, customers, and partners; foster teamwork and create a positive environment for a geographically distributed account team.
- Understand both short-term and long-term account goals, monitor achievement, and take necessary action to ensure targets are met.
- Augment sales leadership and align on specific cybersecurity strategic objectives required for success.
- Collaborate with regional specialists and services teams to clarify efforts related to expanding services.
- Contribute to communication plans to inform on capabilities, services, and processes to support goals and objectives.
- Participate or lead customer-facing meetings, workshops, or other events related to cybersecurity lines of business.
- Possess the ability to work in a client environment and develop a multitude of relationships with excellent communication skills.
- Have expert-level knowledge in one or more cybersecurity areas such as security architecture, cloud security, risk management, compliance, security governance, networks, protocols, threat management, change management, vulnerability management, and overall cybersecurity best practices.
- Develop enablement materials for marketing efforts, including thought leadership articles, quality presentations, videos, and other media.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Computer Science
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Information Systems
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a Related Field
- A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a related field.
- 10-15 years of cybersecurity experience with one or more of the following: background as a practitioner and/or as a CISO, industry-facing consultant, or business development lead.
Licenses and Certifications
- CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- CISM: Certified Information Security Manager

- Demonstrable experience as a project or task lead and working with professionals across organizations.
- Broad subject-matter expertise and ability to field discussions across both technical and strategic cybersecurity topics.
- Success executing across multiple initiatives, exceptional time-management skills, and comfort navigating uncertainty.
- Knowledge of industry and government strategies and standards in privacy and cybersecurity.
- Extensive ability to perform concurrent tasks in complex environments with adjusting priorities.
- Ability to communicate and adapt approach, language, and style to different audiences.
- Extensive experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and leading business initiatives.
- Excellent communication, writing skills, and the ability to work with team members at all levels.
- Performance-driven, team-player attitude.
Travel Requirements
Estimated Amount of Time: Up to 75% of the time. Domestic and international travel.
