LocationLondon, United Kingdom# SailPoint Automation Tester at N Consulting LtdLocationLondon, United KingdomSalary£70 - £75 /yearJob TypeFull-timeDate PostedFebruary 27th, 2026Apply NowJob Title: SailPoint Automation TesterLocation: London, UKEmployment Type: Full-Time (FTE)Work Model: Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day RemoteExperience 10+ yearsAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced SailPoint Automation Tester with strong expertise in Identity Access Management (IAM) and SailPoint application onboarding testing.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing automation frameworks, developing automated test scripts, and defining test strategy for SailPoint-based onboarding workflows.This role requires a proactive professional who can recommend and implement the most suitable open-source automation tools (Selenium/Java preferred, but flexible based on technical rationale).Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement test strategy, test approach, and automation roadmap for SailPoint application onboarding.Design and build an automation framework from scratch (preferably using Selenium with Java or other suitable open-source tools).Create, review, and execute automated test scripts for SailPoint application onboarding processes.Validate identity lifecycle workflows including:Application onboardingAccess requestsRole provisioningCertification & access reviewsJoiner/Mover/Leaver processesPerform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing within IAM solutions.Collaborate with IAM engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality and coverage.Identify automation opportunities and continuously optimise test coverage and execution efficiency.Produce clear documentation including test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and defect reports.Provide thought leadership on tool selection and automation best practices.Required Skills & ExperienceCore ExpertiseStrong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or SailPoint IdentityNowProven experience in SailPoint Application Onboarding testingSolid understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) conceptsExperience testing provisioning workflows, RBAC, certifications, connectors, and integrationsAutomation SkillsStrong experience with Selenium and JavaExperience creating automation frameworks from scratchAbility to recommend alternative open-source tools if more suitable (e.g., REST automation, API testing frameworks)CI/CD integration knowledge is desirableTesting ExpertiseExperience in:Functional TestingRegression TestingIntegration TestingAPI TestingStrong defect management and reporting skillsExperience working in Agile environmentsSoft SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to articulate test strategy and automation approach clearly to stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsroactive mindset with ownership of deliverablesAbility to work effectively in a hybrid working model (4 days onsite in London)Nice to HaveExperience with IAM integrations across enterprise systemsKnowledge of banking/financial services domainExposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
