As part of a strategic multi year programme, they are building and scaling a next generation investment platform designed to support complex, data driven financial strategies at institutional scale.
This is a senior individual contributor role, sitting at the intersection of technology delivery and financial markets. Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of the Investment Platform, you will work closely with platform engineering teams, quantitative developers, IT infrastructure, and a range of business users and senior sponsors.
- Own end to end delivery coherence across multiple interdependent engineering teams
- Identify, track and resolve cross team dependencies before they become blockers
- Establish and enforce evidence based delivery cycles-working integrations, demonstrated interfaces, measurable performance benchmarks
- Define and oversee testing strategies; ensure appropriate environments are available and maintained
- Surface risks, unknowns and integration challenges early and track them systematically
- Translate technical complexity into clear, accurate narratives for senior business stakeholders
- Manage expectations proactively-communicating constraints, trade offs and realistic delivery horizons
- Challenge assumptions, validate claims and identify inefficiencies across the programme
- Support resourcing and prioritisation decisions in collaboration with team leads
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex technology programmes in investment banking or quantitative finance environments
- Direct exposure to QIS (Quantitative Investment Strategies) or systematic investment platforms; understanding how strategies are researched, backtested and industrialised
- Hands on experience coordinating with Quant researchers and Quant developers
- Technical fluency across software architecture, infrastructure and integration
- Familiarity with quant technology ecosystems (Python, C++, distributed data systems, market data infrastructure)
- Background in structured products, equity derivatives or passive/systematic investment platforms is a strong advantage
- Comfortable operating without direct line authority across Quant, Tech, IT and Business teams in large matrix organisations
- Direct and confident communicator - you adapt your message to your audience without losing accuracy
