Role: Regulatory Reporting Specialist - SFTR / TTR
Rate: £750 per day (Umbrella assignment rate, inside IR35)
Duration: Initial contract through to 31 March 2027

Overview
This role sits within a regulatory change and controls function, focusing heavily on SFTR and broader Trade & Transaction Reporting (TTR) obligations across EMEA. The key requirement is hands on SFTR experience - candidates without direct SFTR exposure will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Track, analyse, and interpret regulatory communications across EMEA, with a strong focus on SFTR requirements
- Assess regulatory change impacts and ensure ongoing compliance
- Build and document detailed technical business requirements alongside SMEs
- Run, analyse, and enhance reconciliations for SFTR using DUCO
- Identify control gaps, perform root cause analysis, and define remediation actions
- Present issues, impacts, and remediation plans to senior stakeholders across Compliance, Ops, Tech, and Vendors
- Support BAU SFTR activities including submissions, exception management, and stakeholder queries
- Produce MI and support governance and regulatory forums
Essential Experience
- Proven, hands on SFTR experience (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge across Trade & Transaction Reporting regulations
- Experience running and building reconciliations (DUCO highly preferred)
- Ability to work autonomously in analysing quality assurance reports to determine and quantify the impact on the firm
- Strong stakeholder management and delivery experience in complex environments
