As our new Pre Sales consultant for ITPM & FinOps, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with our sales team and clients to understand their requirements, scope, and size opportunities effectively.
Your primary responsibilities will revolve around providing technical support and translating customer requirements into tailored solutions to meet client needs, identifying opportunities for cross selling and upselling. Additionally, you will define margins in alignment with both sales and delivery teams, drafting statements of work, and curating a repository of solution collaterals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales teams and clients to scope and size opportunities, assess requirements, and align proposed solutions with client objectives and SoftwareOne capabilities.
- Design tailored solutions, deliver presentations or demos as required, define commercial margins with sales and delivery teams, and produce clear statements of work (SOWs).
- Create, maintain, and evolve solution collateral such as case studies, white papers, and presentations, working closely with marketing to support the sales process.
- Act as a subject matter expert by staying current on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies, and bring market insight into client engagements.
- Support the full sales cycle with technical guidance, identify cross and upsell opportunities, and contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives.
What we need to see from you:
- Strong understanding of ITAM principles, asset lifecycle management, software license compliance, risk management, and IT infrastructure across hardware, software, and cloud environments.
- Hands on experience with ITAM and FinOps tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, XenSAM, CloudHealth, Cloudability, Azure Cost Management), including asset discovery, inventory, integration with ITSM platforms, and Microsoft licensing models and compliance.
- In depth knowledge of FinOps, cost optimization, budgeting and forecasting, with the ability to interpret and explain financial metrics such as TCO, ROI, NPV, and IRR to customers.
- Proven ability to solve complex business challenges using technology, support the full sales cycle, collaborate with sales teams, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of producing structured, value focused proposals, and incorporating appropriate project management methodologies and pricing.
- Results driven, organized, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively in international environments, with strong market awareness and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
