Business Development Manager
Location: South West England (Field-Based)
Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 + Company Car + Bonus
Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across the South West. This is a field-based role focused on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the capital equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect and generate new business opportunities across the region
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, and market research
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with new clients
- Identify customer needs and deliver tailored capital equipment solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and close
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Business Development / Sales role within capital equipment
- Strong track record of prospecting and winning new business
- Demonstrable ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence

- Base salary of 45,000 - 50,000
