Your new role
- Working in a Data Centre environment, providing customer support ensuring Service Levels are maintained and the ticketing system is fully up to date
- Installation of server, network and storage hardware
- Performing cabling/patching duties of both copper and fibre
- Remote hands duties such as power cycling equipment, replacing failed hardware components, re-seating networking cards, testing cabling
- Hours: 8.5 hour shifts Mon-Fri, between the hours of 6am and 11pm
- The role will be based full time at the Data Centre so please ensure you are happy with the commute to site on a daily basis.
What you ll need to succeed
- Prior hands-on technical/IT/engineering experience
- Experience working with copper and fibre cabling
- You must be able to pass security checks for this job, including SC and BPSS clearance
- Full UK Driving License and your own personal car is essential for this position
