AI Engineer
London (Hybrid - 2 days per week in office)
Basic salary circa £90k
An opportunity for an AI Engineer to join a growing technology function and play a key role in shaping how AI and automation are applied across a large organisation. This is a hands-on AI Engineer role focused on building practical, scalable solutions that improve how teams operate day to day.
As an AI Engineer, you'll be designing and delivering AI-powered automations, copilots, and agent-based workflows using Microsoft technologies. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand problems, design solutions, and deliver end-to-end automation that is robust, secure, and genuinely useful.
This AI Engineer role combines engineering, automation, and applied AI. You'll be as comfortable building and integrating solutions as you are shaping best practices and helping mature the wider capability.
AI Engineer - Key Requirements:
- Strong experience delivering AI-driven automation solutions in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience building agents or copilots using platforms such as Copilot Studio
- Experience working with generative AI concepts (eg prompt design, RAG, grounding)
- Good understanding of integration patterns (APIs, REST/JSON, event-driven workflows)
- Experience with Microsoft ecosystem tools such as Power Platform and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of identity, access control, and secure system design
- Ability to translate business requirements into working technical solutions
- Comfortable working in an iterative, delivery-focused environment
