Job Description

SAP Manager
Pay Rate: £25.54 per hour PAYE
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 3 months
Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD1 1HX

Hybrid working, 2 days per week in office

What's involved with this role:
As SAP Manager, you will lead both SAP support and project delivery, including implementation and rollout activities. You will analyse user requirements, design solutions, configure systems, and oversee testing and deployment, while ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of SAP services.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years' experience at a senior level in an ICT environment, including 2 years' experience managing staff, projects, or a function, and educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a recognised discipline or holding a professional management qualification

OR

  • At least 5 years' experience at a senior level in an ICT environment, including 2 years' experience managing staff, projects, or a function

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong understanding of SAP modules and services
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and the ability to work within it
  • Experience delivering both business-as-usual (BAU) support and project-based SAP work
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical SAP solutions
  • Experience managing stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party vendors
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage SAP incidents, problems, and service requests
  • Oversee SAP change management processes, including CAB approvals
  • Coordinate SAP releases, patches, notes, and support packs
  • Act as Technical Lead for projects impacting SAP
  • Support SAP-related changes as part of the ERP transformation programme
  • Manage privileged access and SAP security processes
