Technical Product Owner/Lead (SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA P2P I2C)

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Technical Product Owner/Technical Lead. This role is critical within a fast-paced, high-impact IT environment, with a strong focus on SAP landscapes and Finance Technology and particularly Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Invoice-to-Cash (I2C).

This position requires a unique combination of technical depth, leadership capability, and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for a consultant who thrives in complex transformation programs and can operate effectively under demanding timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive technical initiatives across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, ensuring seamless integration with finance-related boundary systems.
• Take ownership of large-scale business and legal entity separations, with a primary focus on Finance Technology processes, particularly Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Invoice-to-Cash (I2C).
• Act as the technical authority and product owner, bridging the gap between IT delivery teams and finance/business stakeholders.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, including solution design, system architecture input, and guidance on best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant solutions within tight project timelines.
• Support and oversee complex integration scenarios, ensuring data consistency, system stability, and minimal business disruption.
• Drive delivery in high-pressure environments, maintaining focus on deadlines, quality, and system integrity during critical separation phases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and system performance.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SAP-focused technical roles, with proven involvement in complex transformation or separation programs.
• Strong expertise in Finance Technology, particularly within P2P (Procure-to-Pay) and I2C (Invoice-to-Cash) domains.
• Deep hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, including system integrations and landscape architecture.
• With experience in ABAP development, including debugging, enhancements, and working closely with development teams to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Proven ability to operate as a Technical Lead or Product Owner, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
• Strong understanding of integration technologies and patterns across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant insights.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, particularly within tight delivery timelines.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in large-scale carve-outs, mergers, or legal entity separations.
• Familiarity with finance transformation programs and regulatory-driven change initiatives.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional teams.
